ACG (Academic Colleges Group) was holding a variety concert and needed some promotional headshot photos to showcase their talented students. To make the concert a success, they needed a series of posters highlighting the diversity of performers – but the promotional headshot photos had to have a strong theme running through them.
Any colour… as long as it is purple!
As the concert logo was purple – a great start was to have the colour purple run through all the photos. This meant photographing all the performers in colour – converting the photos to black and white and then adding a purple wash.
Secondly – we added small flashes behind the talent to give the effect of stage lights.
