Portrait Success is our way of sharing our talents and giving back to the community.
Metro Headshots works with non-profit organisations by suppling our services at no cost to help them achieve their worthy goals
Below is just a few examples of what we have done in the past 12 months.
Tapu Toa is an innovative internship programme creating pathways for MÄori and Pasifika students into careers in the corporate and professional sectors. Metro Headshots participates in the first induction programme with a short lecture on Personal Branding and following up with a individual headshot for their linkedin pages. This is fantastic program and we feel very privileged to be apart of the foundations for New Zealand’s future leaders.
Changing Minds is a national not-for-profit organisation operated entirely by those with personal experience of recovery from mental health and/or addiction issues, who work in the broad area of wellbeing services, advocacy, human rights, and health policy. Metro Headshots was asked to help out by shooting the staff portraits for their new website. The final photos on their About Us page are fun and interactive – (Hint – roll over the photos to see them come to life.)
Match Ready is a free service for AUT Students provided by the AUT Inernz Programme. The workshop is build around making future graduates ‘Match Ready’ for employment equipping them with the skills and tools land the perfect first job. Metro Headshots runs a small session on the importance of Personal Branding followed up by a headshot session for each participant. We have been involved in 8 Match Ready Workshops photographing over 900 students! Look out for these people in future issues of the NBR.
